Habitrol Lozenge provides an effective aid to help you stop smoking, gradually cut down smoking before stopping or help control cravings in situations where you cannot smoke or do not want to smoke.
36 Lozenge
1. Suck one lozenge slowly until the taste becomes strong.
2. Rest the lozenge between your gum and cheek.
3. Suck again when the taste has faded.
4. Suck the lozenge slowly so it remains whole for about 30 minutes.
Do not use if:
- you are under 12 years of age
- you are a non-smoker
- you have an allergy to nicotine or any other ingredient in the lozenge
- the foil seal is broken
Do not use unless a doctor has told you to if:
- you have had a recent heart attack or stroke
- you have angina (chest pain) that is not well controlled or getting worse
- you have severe arrhythmia
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use if:
- you are under 18 years of age
- you are pregnant or breastfeeding
- you have uncontrolled high blood pressure or other heart or blood vessel disease
- you have a stomach ulcer, kidney or liver disease
- you have diabetes
- you have an overactive thyroid or adrenal gland cancer
Contains galactose and sulfites. Contains 11.5 mg sodium/lozenge (equivalent to 172.6 mg/15 lozenges)
which should be taken into account by those on a low sodium diet. Contains 0.88 g maltitol/lozenge
(equivalent to 13.2 g/15 lozenges).
Products containing maltitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea. Contains aspartame, a source of phenylalanine, which may be harmful for people with phenylketonuria.
Keep out of reach of children.
Each lozenge contains 2mg nicotine.
