Psyllium Husk 50g
A semi-soluble fibre which could improve bowel function and can be taken when experiencing constipation or diarrhoea. The high mucilage content may help with anal fissures, IBS, diverticulosis, colitis and haemorrhoids as it can make stools easier to pass. Whenever increasing fibre it is beneficial to also increase your water intake
Use 1 tsp per 250mls of water or add to food or smoothies
Adult - up to 3 doses daily
Child 4-6 yrs - 1/4 adult dose
Child 7-12yrs - 1/2 the adult dose
Suitable in pregnancy and breastfeeding
May initially increase flatulence
Plantago psyllium organic
Use 1-2 tsp with food or take as directed. Drink plenty of water when using psyllium.
